Cabo Destination Wedding Checklist

When you are planning a destination wedding, there are numerous things you need to consider not only for yourself but for your guests as well. You already have all the wonderful details planned out for your day, so you know that your wedding in Cabo is going to be perfect. Now it is just informing your guests of things to consider and things to know before they venture down to Cabo San Lucas to watch you say “I Do”. Here are just a few things we think many people may forget:

1. When sending out save the dates, a good idea is informing your guests to make sure they have a valid passport. Many people either have one they did not realize has expired, or that they need to apply for one in a timely manner to get one. As passports can take up to 4-6 weeks to receive, giving your guests a friendly reminder will ensure they have the ability to come down without any heartache.

2. Remind them to check the weather to have an idea of the temperature here in Cabo. Yes, Cabo is notorious for being sunny and warm all year round, but things do get very hot very quickly some days. So have them check the weather so that they can pack accordingly.

3. Be sure to call your bank and inform them of your vacation before you leave the states. Many banks or credit card companies will shut off access to your debit/credit card if you do not inform them you have left the United States. Although it is a nice comfort to know they will protect your accounts, you do not want to be stuck in Cabo without a working debit/credit card.

These are just a few things to make sure you check off and remind your guests to consider before you leave for your big day.
